SiO2 Ultra Fine Layering or Liquid Glass SiO2 Liquid Glass products are coatings made from silicon dioxide or pure glass isolated from quartz, there are no engineered particles in our technology. The molecules established in our coatings are the same found in water, vegetables and beer. SiO2 products are quick and easy to apply by spraying, wiping or dipping the article to be treated. Protected surfaces become super phobic, and resistant to staining and dirt. Because the glass layer will allow treated substrates to breath, application to stone, wood and fabrics is possible with our technology. We offer treatments for almost all surfaces and protection for tens of years in some environments is possible. This technology has won environmental awards for it’s low impact on the environment and we offer many products with zero VOC’s. Also, SiO2 coatings are highly resistant to acids, alkalines and solvents. When applied, our treatments are undetectable which is one of the most important characteristics for many of our clients. All our regular coatings are biostatic so treated surfaces are resistant to the formation of biofilms, bacteria, algae, and mould. SiO2 offer many products that are antimicrobial, so not only do these coatings inhibit the growth of microbes, but exterminate problem bacteria in minutes.
